The oldest R&D centre for Regenerative Economics in Europe
We are an R&D centre that has been exploring for over a decade how we can use the ingredients of our economy — our time, money and our technology such as AI — for people and planet.
We are researchers, designers and builders — each in our own way. A bit 'nerdy', often neurodivergent, and always curious about you. About what drives you, what keeps you awake at night, and what you would change if you got the chance. For us, that question is how we can use economic innovation to undo the harm done to ourselves, our society and our planet — and leave things better than we found them.
That's why we've been building solutions since 2015. Not the kind that sounds good but only fights symptoms — but scientifically grounded tools, methods and models that touch the core of our collective challenge.

Do you also believe that we can wake up in a future full of life, in a world where it's good to be? A world where we are safe, where we can live healthily and be who we are. A world where technology supports us to do what we love and revives our planet?
Through enhanced awareness of what we find valuable, daring to name that we experience harm and implementing the associated regenerative economic solutions, we can build together a world where our quality of life is central.
How we look at change
Change is not a step-by-step plan. It happens when the right ingredients come together — sometimes simultaneously, sometimes in an unexpected order. That is why our approach is built on five elements for change.
Our Spark Community
Over the years, our paths have crossed with many people. People who were asking themselves questions, sitting with an idea, or simply wanting to act. Researchers, entrepreneurs, teachers, policy makers, creatives and conscious citizens, each contributing from their own life and their own craft.
From those people, our Spark Community has grown.
Together we share knowledge — and our doubts, too. We inspire each other and take, each in our own way, concrete steps towards a future full of life, grounded in a regenerative economy. Not from an ivory tower, but from connection and a genuine care for the world we leave behind.
We are rooted in Belgium and based in Leuven, but our community stretches across every continent — from Switzerland to Bolivia, from Romania to Curaçao, Suriname and Indonesia.
What connects us is a shared conviction: that change is genuinely possible, that it is needed, and that it begins with ourselves and the systems we live in.
