Why this training exists

We collectively struggle to make sustainable choices.

Even though we don’t want to, we cause damage to our health, our society and our planet. Our current economic system creates ever more insecurity and inequality.

Educators can put new insights to work.

With everything already on an educator’s plate, there is rarely time or energy for new insights from economics, sustainability and behaviour that can be integrated step by step.

SDG 4

The essentials of regenerative economics.

We answer the question: how did we end up with today’s problems, both social and ecological, and how is our system evolving? How do we build economic systems — for ourselves, for our organisations and for society — that help us undo that damage? The training is grounded in behavioural economics, cognitive science, business economics and macroeconomics.

What now? Integrating insights

SDG 8

A facilitated session supporting educators to integrate the insights at their own pace and to fit their own situation, exploring open-source materials and tools and exchanging tips.

Decide for yourself which budget works for you

Education budgets are not always generous, and the financial context of one European country is not that of another. That is why we offer three budget options — one of which shows what “regeneration” can mean in practice.

From €0

Register your interest

For educators for whom budget is an insurmountable barrier. Register with this ticket and we’ll contact you if you can take part.

Choose this option

€300

Per participant

For participants without insurmountable financial barriers. This covers the real cost of the three days.

From €301

Regenerative rate · you decide

Pay what you can above the standard budget. The balance is used to let educators who cannot pay for the training take part anyway.

All amounts are VAT exclusive.

How the regenerative rate works

€300 covers the programme. For every extra €300 paid, we invite an educator who has no funds to take part.

Erasmus+ funding

The programme may qualify for Erasmus+ staff mobility (KA1) funding.

Money shouldn’t be a barrier

If your institution’s budget falls short, tell us. We’ll work with you to find a solution.

Which rate fits you?

Or email hello@happonomy.org

Happonomy VZW (Sluisstraat 79, 3000 Leuven) uses your details to handle your registration: your seat, the payment and the invoice. That is needed to deliver your seat. Attendee names go to the venue, De Hoorn in Leuven, so you can get in. Payments run through a payment service provider. We keep your registration for up to 24 months after the event, and invoice details for as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires. You can see, correct or delete your details through hello@happonomy.org, and you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
