Happonomy as partner in systems change

Together we tinker on systems solutions that let people and planet breathe again.

We like working with partners who also see that everything connects to everything else. A roadmap is welcome but not required — what we do need is a sharp read on what we actually need, room to adjust as we go, and an honest conversation about what's working and what isn't. That's how we build things that genuinely fit and keep fitting, even when our world takes a turn.

Consortium

Consortium Partner & Project Lead

We act as consortium partner or project lead in national and European innovation projects.

EU

EU Frameworks

We have experience in Horizon Europe, ESF, Erasmus+ and the EIC. We know what it takes to deliver excellence within these frameworks and create relevant social outcomes.

Seal of Excellence

Erasmus+ Seal of Excellence

The European Commission recognized the rigour, ambition, and social relevance of our proposals with this quality mark.

Our approach

A model for structural collaboration

We've spent a long time tinkering on a model where money, value and change are aligned. A model that strengthens relationships and collaboration instead of disrupting them. Our approach gives people more financial security and supports them to work from their talent on things that give them energy.

Ticket To Utopia Board Game

Ticket To Utopia is a board game for game enthusiasts that turns the impact of money on sustainability into something you can literally play with. Around the table, players experience how monetary choices ripple through climate, community and quality of life — the kind of insight no PowerPoint deck can deliver.

We are now in the design phase: iterating on the rules, playtesting with our target audience and preparing for production so the box can land on as many tables as possible.

Digital Pension Plan

Digital Pension Plan is a research tool: a digital game that lets academic researchers observe in a controlled setting how different monetary structures shape people's behaviour.

By scaling the game across many participants and locations at once, it generates rich data that researchers can use to test hypotheses about money, incentives and social dynamics.

Good Money - Bad Money

Good Money - Bad Money is a non-fiction book written by Stef Kuypers that walks readers through the impact of our monetary system on society — accessible enough for the general public, rigorous enough for those who want to understand the mechanics. The book also presents an alternative perspective on, and a new design for, money — one that helps build more security, fairness and meaning.

Regenerative Economics Bachelor Course

Together with Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen, we are developing a modular bachelor course in regenerative economics (3 ECTS) — designed so that the next generation of economists, policy makers and entrepreneurs leaves school with regenerative thinking already in their toolkit.

After the first pilot, the modular setup allows us to share the curriculum with other higher-education institutions, so the course can spread well beyond a single campus.

Sailor

Sailor is a self-service tool that starts from a person's talent and motivation. Sailor builds on an individual talent profile to, supported by AI, bring out the best in people and organisations. Sailor shows which roles and projects are a good fit.

The tool works in two modes: as a personal compass for individuals navigating their own path, and as a guidance instrument for the people who walk alongside them, build organisations, or shape talent- and people-driven policy.

Dreamcatcher

Dreamcatcher is your personal compass for creating a life that aligns with what you care about most. Built on the Happonomy Value Canvas, the app helps you explore your values, design a Good Life Budget and turn them into a concrete action plan. The app is available now.

Cockpit

Cockpit is an agent-based modelling engine that lets researchers and policy makers run quantitative simulations on macro-economic and monetary dynamics — the kind of analysis that until now lived behind the walls of large institutions.

By making the engine accessible to a much wider circle, Cockpit allows smaller research groups, local governments and even central bank teams to test policy assumptions before they reach the real economy.

Slingshot - Regenerative Equity

Slingshot is our work to build a new asset class on top of an innovative corporate design grounded in steward-ownership principles — capital that serves the mission instead of extracting from it.

We are developing the legal framework, the steward-ownership structure and the investor onboarding so that founders and investors who want to align money with regeneration finally have a tested vehicle to do so.

Regenesis

Regenesis is a modular platform for organisation leaders. The first module uses AI to dramatically accelerate the identification of funding opportunities for sustainability and regenerative practices — work that today eats up weeks of staff time.

The modular architecture lets us add successive modules around the same leader-focused workflows, so Regenesis can grow into a single cockpit for organisations that want to lead the regenerative transition.

Happonomy builds a regenerative economy that restores social and ecological damage. We support individuals, organizations and communities in creating sustainable value.
